Air Force 2nd Lt. Japheth E. Parker has graduated from Basic Officer Training at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, Ala. Parker was a member of Flight 1-14, Goldhawks Squadron, which was named Honor Flight for Class 09-03.
Parker is a 2001 graduate of Bradwell Institute and a 2008 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Georgia Southern University. His parents are CW4 Jeffrey D. and Ann E. Parker of Hinesville.
Parker and his wife, Delaney B. Parker, will be stationed at Laughlin AFB in Texas, where he will complete undergraduate pilot training.
