0203 Woods best things

Robert Woods, a project manager for a contractor on Fort Stewart, is a football fan through and through. He’s eagerly awaiting the big game this Sunday and has shared with us his five favorite Super Bowl moments.
• The first one was when Doug Williams won with the Washington Redskins in 1998. He was the first black QB in the league. I will never forget that moment.
• I will never forget when the Colts won in 2007. What a moment. It was the first time we had two black coaches going head-to-head, toe-to-toe in the bowl, Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith. That will be in the history books.
• Then you had that moment when the Giants won in 2008 after their wide receiver, David Tyree, caught that unbelievable pass behind his head. That was definitely unforgettable.
• One of my worst memories was seeing the Minnesota Vikings knock the Cowboys out of the playoffs. I thought for sure that they would never be able to touch our defense.
• But my best memory would be seeing the Cowboys win the Super Bowl three out of the four years they made it. As you probably can tell, I am a Cowboys fan.
