The Hinesville City Council honored Henry Brewton at its meeting last week.
The honor was presented by Councilman Charles Frasier, recognizing Brewton as a mentor of his who deserved recognition for 22 years of volunteer service towards the Hinesville Housing Authority.
“It is rare that someone will serve the city on their own time for so many years, and ask for nothing in return,” Frasier said.
