LCHS grad accepted into Armstrong honors

Amanda Herring
Amanda Kathleen Herring of Hinesville has been accepted to the Armstrong Atlantic State University’s Honors Program.
She is a sophomore and attends Armstrong year round.  
Herring is the daughter of Mary Johnson Herring and Ernest P. Herring of Hinesville and the granddaughter of the late Flossie Mae Johnson.
She is a 2007 Liberty High honor graduate, HOPE scholar and is majoring in psychology, considering pursuing a career in youth counseling.
Jonathan Roberts, director of the honors program, said, “Our program is comprised of present and future student leaders of AASU and the community beyond.”
