Richard A. Foust has joined the U.S. Army under the delayed entry program. The program gives young men and women the opportunity to delay entering active duty for up to one year.
Foust, a 2009 graduate of Washington High School, Pensacola, Fla., will report to Fort Benning in Columbus for basic training in October.
The new soldier is the son of Sharlene Doyle of Hinesville and Richard Foust of Pensacola.
Taylor finishes basics
Air Force Airman Zachary J. Taylor graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
He is the son of Denver and Lynne Taylor of Glennville.
Taylor is a 2007 graduate of Tattnall County High School in Reidsville.
