Chelsea Ann McGowan

National Guard Army Reserve PVT Chelsea Ann McGowan has graduated from the basic combat training center of excellence at Fort Jackson, SC. She is the daughter of Page and Jeff McIntosh of Hinesville, and a 2006 graduate of the Youth Challenge Academy at Fort Stewart.

Roderick Williams Jr.

Navy Seaman Recruit Roderick W. Williams Jr., son of Malette Smiley of Ludowici, completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
Williams is a 2004 graduate of Hopewell, Va. High School.

Robert E. Bell

Air Force Airman 1st Class Robert E. Bell has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is the son of Robert and Ida Bell of Hinesville. Bell is a 2002 graduate of the Bradwell Institute in Hinesville.

Cedric Lasean Green

Army Private First Class Cedric L. Green will graduate from Advance Individual Training Oct. 8. On Aug. 15, he graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. He is the son of SFC (ret.) Ricky N. Pridgen Sr. and Tanya D. Pridgen of Hinesville, and the grandson of Ron Wallace and Beverly Wallace in Savannah. Cedric L. Green is a 2008 graduate of Bradwell Institute.

Damien A. Johnson

Navy Seaman Damien A. Johnson, son of Vebnita Ford of Hinesville, and Teddy Johnson of Hempstead, N. Y., recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.
Johnson is a 2004 graduate of Thomas Edison High School of Jamaica, N.Y.
