Soldiers making moves in military

Army Sgt. Angelo J. Gallegos has been named as the Ohio Valley District Veterinary Command Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter.
Selection was based on the individual’s exemplary duty performance, job knowledge, leadership qualities, teamwork, self-improvement, personal achievements, accomplishments and community service and support.
Gallegos is a quality assurance representative assigned to the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Ohio Valley District Veterinary Command branch in Cincinnati. The sergeant has served in the military for seven years.
He is the son of Martin Gallegos of Albuquerque, N.M., and Celia C. Gallegos of Hinesville.
The sergeant received a high school equivalent diploma from Altamaha Technical College in Jesup.

Stafford finishes infantry training

Army Pfc. Alan C. Stafford has graduated from the Infantryman One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning in Columbus.  The training consists of basic infantry training and advanced individual training.
Stafford is the son of Gene and Rhonda Stafford of Midway.
