Army Pfc. David G. Jakubonis has been mobilized and activated at Fort McCoy in Sparta, Wis., for deployment overseas to a forward operating base in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  The soldier is a member of the 432nd Blood Support Detachment at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, N.C.
Jakubonis is a medical laboratory technician with two years of military service.
He is the son of Gediminas and Diana Jakubonis of Fairport, N.Y.
His wife, Candyce, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horton of Ludowici.
The private graduated in 1997 from McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester, N.Y., and received an associate's degree in 2008 from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Air Force Airman Shar R. Williams has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
She is the daughter of Gwendolyn Glenn of Raleigh, N.C., and Raymond Williams of Hinesville.
Williams is a 2007 graduate of William G. Enloe High School in Raleigh.

Air Force Airman Jacob O. Hall has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
He is the son of Timothy and Sherri Hall of Ludowici.
