Navy Seaman Recruit Darrell L. Webb, nephew of William and Jeanette Hodnett of Hinesville, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.
Webb is a 2007 graduate of Bradwell Institute in Hinesville.

Army Pvt. Chelsea McGowan has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. She is the daughter of page and stepdaughter of Jeff McIntosh of Allenhurst. McGowan graduated in 2006 from the Georgia Youth Challenge Academy at Fort Stewart.
