BREAKING: Heat advisory issued for entire week
A heat advisory for the week has been issued and to help residents stay safe, the City of Hinesville has partnered with Bethel AME Church (233 N. Gause Street) to provide a cooling station. The cooling station will be open from August 17-21 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. each day.

Aidan Christopher Rollins was born on Feb. 8 at 3:24 p.m. to Chris and Jennifer Rollins of Kingsland. He was born at Southeast Georgia Medical Center’s Camden Campus and weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 21 1/2 inches. His maternal grandparents are David and Paula Golden of Long County and his paternal grandparents are Connie Rollins of Ludowici and Marcus Rollins of Nolanville, Texas. He is also welcomed by his great-grandparents, Gerald and Ivis Lewandowski and Mildred Golden of Long County.
