Isaiah Ansel-Lamont Thomas was born Sept. 6 at 6:57 p.m. to Modiestine N. and Ansel L. Thomas of Hinesville. He was born at Liberty Regional Medical Center and weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 19 inches. His maternal grandparents are James and Modiestine Henry. His paternal grandmother is Joann Brooks of Evergreen, Ala.  He is welcomed by his sister, Faith Thomas, and his brothers, Zion and DeQuwan Thomas.
