Kenneth Joel Diaz was born at 11:04 p.m. May 7 to Carmen Diaz of Davie, Fla.

Born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, baby Kenneth weighed 6 pounds, 3.2 ounces and measured 18.5 inches.

The baby’s grandmother is Reyna Madrid of Davie.

The baby also is welcomed by sister Fanny Irania.
