Malvlani Meli-Leilani Smith was born at 3:16 p.m. Oct. 6 to Chiquita Smith and Chad Smith of Midway.
Born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, baby Malvlani weighed 3 pounds, 6.5 ounces and measured 15.5 inches.
The baby’s maternal grandparents are Marion Strickland and Don Cravier of Dayton, Ohio. The baby’s paternal grandparents are Cathy Oliveira and Frank Smith of Midway.
The baby also is welcomed by sisters Traeh Strickland and Miangel Smith and brother Octavious Lewis.
