Marybel Laboy of Hinesville and Mark A. Rivera of Lakeland, Fla. are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Latasha Marie Rivera of Hinesville, to Jarod Mikell Mullis of Jesup.
The bride-elect plans to graduate in May 2008 from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s of science degree in apparel design and merchandising. Her paternal grandparents are Nilsa Flores and Raul Rivera of Pinebrook, N.J., and her maternal grandparents are Victor and Sixta Laboy of Hinesville.
The groom-elect is the son of Patricia Jones of Patterson and John Wayne Mullis of Jesup. He is the grandson of Stanley and Fay Mullis of Jesup, and Ottis and Barbara Landon of Patterson.
He plans to graduate in May 2010 from Georgia Southern with a bachelor’s degree in recreation.
Their wedding is set for March 13, 2009, at Live Oak Church of God.
