Editor, I would like to thank everyone that helped out at the Golf Tournament at Cherokee Rose Country Club on Nov. 3 on my behalf. I would like to give a special thanks to Toasted Pig, Baldino’s, Food Lion and McDonald’s for providing food, drinks and paper products.
A special thanks also to Mr. Mobley for allowing us the use of the Country Club. Linda Richardson, Georganne Moody and Yvonne Madison who did registration for the tournament.
Thanks also to all of the sponsors who provided gifts for the door prizes and to all the people who played in the tournament; our children, Travis and Christy; Karl Rowe; the ladies from the quilt guild, who have raised over $600 to go towards my treatment; Judy Finch, who helped Bob get donations from the local community; my husband, Bob; and Gill, who helped pick up supplies and went around with Bob the day of the tournament to make sure everything was in place.
