Derby Devils to raise funds for Second Harvest
The Savannah Derby Devils will have a fundraiser and canned-good drive Saturday, June 16, during a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m. in the Savannah Civic Center.
Those who bring at least one canned good item for donation to America’s Second Harvest will receive $1 off their ticket. That night’s raffle proceeds will go to America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia.
Tickets are available through the Savannah Civic Center website at savannahcivic.com and box office. Admission ranges from $2 to $16 per ticket. Discount tickets are available for children, seniors, students, military and groups of 10 or more.
The event includes live music from Portman’s New Horizon’s Band and an appearance by the Savannah Junior Roller Derby.

Take your daughter to the range Saturday
Mission Essentials in Hinesville hosts its inaugural Take Your Daughter to the Range Day from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at 918B Hollywood Drive.
The event is open to everyone, but the focus will be for girls ages 6-18. There will be a drawing for a pink .22-caliber rifle and other giveaway prizes, snacks and promotional items from different distributors.

Beanbag tournament set for June 14 in Savannah
Coach’s Corner in Savannah will host its first Cornhole Classic Tournament on Thursday, June 14, to benefit Senior Citizens Inc.
The cost is $100 per team of two, with cash payouts going to the top five teams. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Entry to the tournament also includes a fish fry, all the beer you can drink and a concert by Liquid Ginger. The tournament begins at 6 p.m., followed by the fish fry at 7 and concert at 8.

Father/Son program June 23 at Hinesville YMCA
Scott’s All-Stars will host a Father/Son’s Day program from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. June 23 at the YMCA in Hinesville.
Guest speakers will discuss the bond between fathers and sons. The program is free and open to the public.

Panthers football camp set for June 25-28
Liberty County High School is hosting its annual football skills camp for ages 7-15 from 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. June 25-28. The fee is $60 if registered and paid before June 20. The fee goes up to $70 after June 20.
