BI to host ‘Pink Day’ at Tiger Field

All Bradwell Institute baseball fans are encouraged to come out today for the Tigers’ home game against Region 3-AAAAA rival Camden County.
The Tigers will host “Pink Day” and ask that all fans wear pink to observe and honor breast-cancer awareness.
The game starts at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the gate and cost $5.

Healthy Kids Day is Saturday

The YMCA will host Healthy Kids Day from 11a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturday.
Admission is free, and the YMCA will provide healthy snacks and several activities throughout its facility to promote healthy habits for kids and families.

Tournament of Scholarships

The Liberty County Martin Luther King Jr. Association Inc. is sponsoring the seventh annual Golf Tournament of Scholarships at noon Saturday at the Cherokee Rose Country Club in Hinesville.
The cost is $50 per player, $200 per team. All proceeds benefit academic scholarships for LCHS seniors. Door prizes and lunch will be provided for the players. Sponsorship opportunities are available from $100-$1,500.
