First annual Southeast Georgia Report Classic

 

South Georgia Kings founder Jessie Fleming will host the first annual Southeast Georgia Report Classic, featuring the top ninth-grade teams from Florida and Southeast Georgia. The registration fee is $150 and the tournament starts at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 24, at Faith Baptist Christian Academy’s gym in Ludowici. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for kids 12 and younger. Bracket play begins Saturday night, and at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 25, the semi-finals will start. The championship game is slated for 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 320-5204.

Kiss-A-Pig

‘Porker Run’

 

Hop on a hog and help Team Liberty candidate Jon Long kiss a pig as he raises money for the American Diabetes Association. The run is open to motorcycles, cars and trucks. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at Liberty Regional Medical Center, 462 E. G. Miles Parkway. Fees are $20 per person and $5 for additional hands.
