Rodney Jackson, bowled a perfect "300" game during the 19th annual Southeast Bowling Association Handicap Tournament held at Bama Lanes, in Montgomery, Ala., Memorial Day Weekend.
Jackson is a member of the Miller’s Friday Mixed League at Fort Stewart’s USBC Bowling Association.

20th annual Summer Slam is set
The 20th annual Summer Slam is scheduled for July 4 at Salter’s Field, off Highway 84 next to the new section of Highway 196 in the McIntosh community. Admission is $5 per person and gates open at 1 p.m. A large crowd is expected, so come early and stay late. A music contest is scheduled for 2, followed by a car, bike and truck contest at 3 and a live concert at 5. Vendors, musicians and vehicle contestants interested in participating should call Ernie Walthour at 980-4559 for details.

Tournament
The Harvey Overton Bradwell Institute Booster Club will host its annual Tiger Tee-Off at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at the Cherokee Rose Country Club. The tournament will be a four-person scramble. The entry fee is $50 per person, $200 per team. First-place winners will receive $300, second-place $200, third-place $100 and anyone who gets a hole-in-one on the 13th will win a car, courtesy of Hinesville Ford. Scott’s All-Stars basketball team will host its first banquet, themed "All-Stars At All Costs," from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at the Econo Lodge banquet room, 726 E. Oglethorpe Highway. River Street Summer
Classic
Registration is under way for the 2010 River Street Summer Classic Tournament on June 18-20 in Jacksonville. The fee is $325 per team and is open to all age groups.
