Hoops showcase set
The Southeast Georgia Report/Super Hoops Showcase is set for March 17 at the Richmond Hill Recreation Center. Registration closed earlier. The showcase gives unsigned male and female high school seniors an opportunity to show their skills for Division II, junior college and NAIA colleges and scouting services. The training session will be conducted by Jessie Fleming of Jet Dribble/Southeast Georgia Report.
The registration fee is $65 and should be made payable to Georgia Coastal Youth Inc., P.O. Box 368, Riceboro, GA 31323. For registration forms or for more information, call Chris Stacy 695-0481 or Fleming 610-3092.

YMCA spring
hoops set to start
Registration is open for YMCA spring basketball for ages 7-12. Practice begins the week of April 9. Call 368-9622.

MLK golf tourney set for April 14
The eighth annual Liberty County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Golf Tournament and Scholarship Fundraiser is scheduled for April 14 at Cherokee Rose Country Club in Hinesville.
Registration is under way through April 7 for individuals and teams.
The fees are $50 per player or $200 per team.
Hole sponsorships are available and golfers will have the chance to win a brand-new car, courtesy of Hinesville Ford.
On April 14, check-in time starts at noon and tee time begins at 1 p.m.
