Panthers fall to Richmond Hill
Liberty County High School’s soccer teams played a region meet Saturday in Richmond Hill. The Panther boys and girls both lost their games.
The Wildcats took the boys down with a mercy-rule ending late in the second half, winning 10-0. The girls lost 9-0.
YMCA to host March Madness
The Liberty County YMCA will host a March Madness basketball tournament at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 27. Teams have until March 22 to register. It’s open to ages 16 and older, and the fee is $150 per team. For more information, call 368-9622.

Liberty Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic
The fourth annual Liberty County Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic will be on April 23 at Cherokee Rose Country Club in Hinesville. Fees are $200 per four-person teams or $60 per individual player.
