Touchdown Club seeks sponsors for golf tourney
Long County’s Touchdown Club is seeking sponsors and donations for its upcoming fifth Annual Long County Touchdown Club Golf Tournament.
Hole sponsorships are $100. The group also needs monetary or gift donations for door prizes.
The tournament will be a four-person captain’s scramble. Fees are $50 per person. A "cheaters combo" is available for an additional $10, which includes one mulligan, one shot from the ladies tee and one string of 10 feet for placing a shot closer to a hole.

Kiss-A-Pig
‘Porker Run’
Hop on a hog and help Team Liberty candidate Jon Long kiss a pig as he raises money for the American Diabetes Association. The run is open to motorcycles, cars and trucks.

2010 River Street Summer Classic
Tournament
Registration is being accepted for the 2010 River Street Summer Classic Tournament on June 18-20 in Jacksonville, Fla. The fee is $325 per team and is open to all age groups. Entry deadline is June 11. All players must show their current AAU membership card, have light and dark colored team uniforms and show their birth certificates at the tournament. St. James summer camp
Registration for the St. James summer camp is ongoing at St. James. Participants can register in person or register via e-mail at st_jamescenter@hotmail.com.
The camp is open to children ages 5-13 and will start May 25. Camp hours are from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, but will be closed on holidays. The fee is $50 per week. Fort Stewart annual bowling meeting
The Fort Stewart USBC Bowling Association annual open meeting is at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 23 in the Patriot Room at Club Stewart. Tournament awards will be presented and board members elections will take place. All bowlers are requested to attend.
