Soccer tryouts set
The Hinesville Gators will hold tryouts for their 11-and-under and 12-and-under boys’ and girls’ academy teams and the 13-and-under boys’ and girls’ select teams. The tryouts will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday May 29, and Tuesday June 5, at the St. James Sports Center’s soccer field

A story printed May 18, “First Presbyterian honors athletes, notes how far programs have come,” did not mention that First Presbyterian Christian Academy girls’ soccer coach Tom Sukaratana won the Georgia Independent School Association state coach of the year. The Courier regrets the error.
