Three First Presbyterian Christian Academy Highlander soccer players are receiving a trip of a lifetime to learn and play soccer with the pros in London England.
The soccer coaches representing the Georgia Independent High School Association soccer teams chose Colin Williams, Kristian Eby and Joey Bell.
“Each school nominated some of their soccer players and out of 80 nominees 23 players and a goalie were chosen for the trip,” FPCA head soccer coach, Tom Sukaratana. “I’m very proud of these young men,” he said.
As part of the Adidas International Training Program these three young men will be flown to Europe where they attend soccer camps and training with major league soccer players and professionals in the field of soccer.
“They will train at Chelsea Academy and play matches along side with the pros,” Sukaratana said. “It’s going to be an experience they will never forget.
