The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carey Tankersley Jr. of Evans. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Foster of Evans, and Mrs. Margie Tankersley and the late Mr. Carey Tankersley of Appling. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Waters Jr. of Allenhurst. He is the grandson of Mrs. Jean Parks and the late Mr. George Parks of Hinesville and Mrs. Mary Waters of Highpoint, NC, and the late Mr. Dennis Waters of Allenhurst. He is also a graduate of University of Georgia.
