BRUNSWICK — The Glynn County Airport Commission and JLC AirShow Management have set the Wings Over the Golden Isles Air Show at the Brunswick Golden Isles Airport for October.
The Oct. 8-9 performer line-up will include civilian performers and military demonstration teams, including the U.S. Navy’s F/A-18 Hornet Tac Demo Team. There will also be a Saturday evening concert by .38 Special.
Organizers anticipate more than 75,000 people.
The parking lots and ticket booths will open at 8 a.m. both that Saturday and Sunday. The shows get underway at 11:30 with opening ceremonies, introduction of performers and patriotic presentation.
The shows wrap up at 4 p.m.
Activities on that Saturday evening start up at 4:30 kids games, static displays, exhibits and food. The backup bands start at 5 and .38 Special is expected to take the stage about 7:30, followed by a fireworks display at 9.
