Ludowici class reunion: The Ludowici High School Classes of 1940-55 will have their annual reunions at 3 p.m.

Sept. 29 at First Baptist Church in Ludowici. All classmates are encouraged to attend with a guest, as well as contribute any class pictures, photos or related items.

Participants who are aware of any classmates who have passed away since the 2011 reunion are asked to list the name on the reply, which has to be returned to class representatives no later than Sept. 8.

Little Miss Golden Isles: Contestants are sought for the Little Miss Golden Isles and Miss Southeastern Beauty Pageant at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, in Brunswick.

The pageant is open to single girls ages newborn through 24. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Miss Golden Isles Scholarship Fund.
