Ja’Quan Samaje Holmes was born at 6:12 p.m. April 23 to Shequita Holmes and Dorian Holmes of Riceboro.
Born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, baby Ja’Quan weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 20.5 inches.
The baby’s maternal grandparents are Pearlie King of Boyle, Miss., and Willie Jones of Boyle. The baby’s paternal grandmother is Brena Holmes of Riceboro.
The baby also is welcomed by sister Taniya Anderson and brother Tyrell Anderson Jr.
