Jeremy Allen Davis of Hinesville and Rachelle Kristen Carlon of Osceola, Iowa, are set to wed on Sept. 7.

Jeff and Vicki Davis of Hinesville announce the engagement of their son, Jeremy Allen Davis of Hinesville, to Rachelle Kristen Carlon of Osceola, Iowa.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ronda and Dan Harrison of Chariton, Iowa. A 2005 graduate of a California high school, she graduated from Iowa State University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and is a vaccine lab and process development assistant with Texas Vet Lab Inc.
Her paternal grandparents are Marie Harrison and Ruby Carlon. Her maternal grandparents are Orval and Neva Lee McDowell of Osceola.
The future groom is a staff sergeant with the U.S. Air Force in Security Forces and is stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas. He graduated from Clarke Community High School in Osceola in 2003, also attended Iowa State University and Scott Community College in Iowa and earned an associate’s degree in criminal justice from the Air Force Community College. He’s attending Ashford University, finishing a bachelor’s degree in communications.
His paternal grandparents are Jeanne Hutson-Mayer of Apopka, Fla., and Andrew Davis of Old Town, Fla.
His maternal grandparents are Carol Shalifoe of Shelby, Mich., and the late Carl Edward Tibbitts of Muskegon, Mich.
They are planning a Sept. 7 wedding in the Willow Creek Glass Chapel in Shelby, Iowa, with the Rev. Chuck DeVos officiating. The reception also will be at the chapel.
The newlyweds plan to live in San Angelo, Texas.
