James “Jim” and Alicia Floyd of Hinesville announce the engagement of their daughter, Evanne Leigh Floyd, to Jay Kight Gill.
The bride-elect is the paternal granddaughter of Carolyn Floyd of Flemington and the late James “Jimmy” Floyd, and the maternal granddaughter of  Vaneta Smith of Flemington and the late  Randall Smith and the late Ray Latham. She is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and is employed by the Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The groom-elect is the son of Joseph “Moe” and Gay Gill of Fleming. He is the paternal grandson of the late Joseph “J.F.” and Sue Gill, and the maternal grandson of Ronald and Gayle Durrence of Claxton, and Roger and Ann Duffield of Bellville. He attended East Georgia College and is employed by EnviroVac.  
An April 13 wedding is planned at the Historic Midway Congregational Church in Midway.
