Grief camp for kids in April
hospice savannah
Hospice Savannah's Full Circle bereavement staff and volunteers are organizing Camp Aloha for April 29-May 1.

Children ages 6-17 who have experienced the death of a loved one in the last 24 months are invited to an overnight camp organized by not-for-profit Hospice Savannah’s Full Circle bereavement staff and volunteers.

Camp Aloha will be April 29 through May 1 at the New Ebenezer Retreat Center in Rincon and is underwritten by community donations and a sponsorship from the Kaminsky Automotive Group. Volunteers and professionals will provide therapeutic activities. Campers participate in sports, games, group therapy, campfires, singing and making friends who have also experienced loss.

For information, to view videos from prior camps, or to register a child, go to www.HospiceSavannah.org/CampAloha or contact bereavement counselor Barbara Moss at 912-303-9442. There is a $25 registration fee that can be waived if needed.
