ATLANTA — Checking the status of family benefits is becoming more convenient in Georgia. Families receiving food stamps, Medicaid and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families now can view notices online regarding their benefits by logging in to a “My COMPASS” account. The online service is designed to increase the level of access families have to the status of their benefits and keep them informed of any information necessary to renew their benefits.
Through the “View My Notices” tab on www.compass.ga.gov, families can view their past 10 notices in PDF format.
The “View My Notices” option on Compass is the latest enhancement to online services for DFCS clients. Future enhancements will allow clients to opt to receive electronic updates on the status of their accounts.
In addition to the new accessibility options, individuals also can use the Compass website to apply for benefits, submit renewal applications, check the status of their benefits and report changes to their accounts.
