Midwife center offers classes
The Midwife Group of Coastal Georgia will host a class called “Good Beginnings,” a comprehensive orientation of midwife care for women. The class includes a tour of The Family Health and Birth Center for women and their families. The class helps you to gain an understanding of midwife care and the many options it provides to women of all ages, pregnant and non-pregnant. The class takes place at The Family Health and Birth Center, 119 Chimney Road, Rincon, from 2-4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free but pre-registration is required. Call (912) 826-4155

Classes cover births
The Midwife Group of Coastal Georgia will conduct a Birth Preparation Class to prepare educationally and psychologically for the labor and birth process. The class takes place at The Family Health and Birth Center, 119 Chimney Road, Rincon, from 1-5 p.m. The cost is $25 per couple. Pre-registration is required. Gateway classes fight depression
Gateway Behavioral Health Services in Liberty County is offering community education classes in March on depression and stress management. Each class will meet once a week from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The cost is $15 per class for six weeks. For more information or to register, call Ann Reads at 368-3502.
