Coastal Endodontics welcomes new dentist
Matt Palazzolo

Coastal Endodontics, the home of “comfortable root canals” in coastal Georgia, recently announced the addition of a new dentist to its staff, hoping it will provide more flexible scheduling and shorter wait times for patients.
Dr. Matthew Palazzolo, a board eligible endodontist with a certificate in endodontics, is now with the practice. His specialized training in endodontics (the treatment of the soft tissues at the center of the tooth) dovetails with the equipment and procedures at Coastal Endodontics. The practice hopes these changes and additions will benefit patients in a variety of ways, such as:
• Reduced time in the chair
• Lessened impact on healthy tissue
• Fewer x-rays usually are needed
• Computer-generated anesthesia, which eliminates the need for needles
• Shortened healing times

Palazzolo and his practice partner, Dr. Christopher Lea, are taking appointments in their Hinesville office and can be reached by calling 463-4405. For more information, go to coastalendo.net.
Palazzolo is active in the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association.
When not saving teeth, he enjoys outdoor activities, such as mountain biking and paddle boarding with family and friends.
Palazzolo was born and raised in West Michigan. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in 2004 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry-Ann Arbor in 2008
He was commissioned in the United States Navy as a dental officer in 2008 and served four years.
Palazzolo earned a certificate of endodontics and Master’s of Science in Dentistry at the University of Louisville in 2014.
