People and organizations from all over the area opened their trunks and passed out candy to kids last week in Long County.
Smiley Elementary School held its annual trunk-or-treat celebration Friday, and more than 60 supporters were on hand with their decorated vehicles and trucks as kids filled their bags with candy, toys and other treats.
Elim Baptist Church opened up its parking lot Saturday to line up more cars for its trunk-or-treat event. In addition to candy, games and prizes also were available.
Some of the games included a football toss, spinning prize wheel, bean bag toss, grab bag and fishing derby.
