At each of its quarterly meetings, the Christian Women’s Ministry of Hinesville First United Methodist Church chooses a member who exemplifies the concept of “living in the light,” modeling the lifestyle of servanthood.

On Feb. 8, the member chosen was Linda Sachau. In presenting the plaque, Susan Chipple talked about Sachau’s devoted service to the Kirk Healing Center for the Homeless, especially her assistance to Dr. Alicia Kirk, founder and CEO.

The plaque says, “With love and appreciation for your service to our Lord through your ministry with Christian Women’s Ministry, the Hinesville First United Methodist Church and the Kirk Healing Center.”

Sachau is constantly at work for her Seekers Sunday School Class, her church, and Kirk’s foundation.

Sachau is a wife, mother of three and grandmother.
