Has anyone seen a black-and-white cocker spaniel around 3 years old? If so, please call 369-5244.

I sure hope to see that Lewis Frasier Middle School is allowed to wear black uniform shirts next year. It’s more convenient for students who are going from eighth grade to ninth grade to LCHS to be able to wear black shirts instead of having to buy new colors once they get to the new school. I hope the board of education considered Lewis Frasier Middle School using black uniform shirts this school year.

Lewis Frasier Middle School should consider rewarding students at the end of the school year that has perfect attendance. Many of the other schools in the county do, and that is quite a feat to have perfect attendance in a year. They should consider giving that certificate at the end of the year because perfect attendance is very important.

They need to remove all of the slot machines in the convenience stores because if you win the jackpot, they don’t give you the ticket from the machine, and then you have to continue playing until you get the ticket out. They need to remove all of them.

Everyone think twice about going to Candler Hospital in Savannah. My wife was a patient there for what should have been an overnight procedure, but it’s now in its 10th day. She will be transferred to a rehab facility for recovery.

In the July 4 paper, the county CFO basically threatened the taxpayers and voters of the county with hiked property taxes if SPLOST is not passed. We just had a property tax with the assessment of Laurel Land Management where the property value of land was raised by almost 40 percent. How much money do they need? I think it’s time we vote all of them out of office. If you can’t manage the money you have, you’re spending too much. The burden of everything should not be on the taxpayers and property owners. How about cutting your budget and pay?
