Here are some of the issues that area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously, so the Courier does  not vouch for their veracity, nor do we know what motivated the callers:

The election poll was done very poorly this year on the city election. We didn’t know where our voting place was at until we got there to vote, and then we weren’t real sure where it was at. I felt like a better job could have been done notifying the city on where they needed to vote for the city election. Job poorly done.

Y’all need to change the name of your paper from Coastal Courier to hit-and-miss Courier, because it seems like every Wednesday I’m not getting a paper delivered to my house. It seems like we’re just hit and miss in this area.

Don’t complain. This is to all the people who complained about all the politicians in Hinesville for taking these trips, spending all this unnecessary money on different things. Don’t even complain, don’t even put it in the newspaper anymore or I will cancel my subscription to the Coastal Courier. You have only yourself to blame. You complain, but you vote them right back into office. So now, deal with it.

Well, I don’t want anybody crying about them going to Tybee Island or St. Simons or whatever. You crazy people voted for them, so you’ve got them right back in there again.
