Sound off for Oct. 5

Here are some of the issues that area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously so the Courier does not vouch for their veracity, nor do we know what motivated teh callers:

In an effort to maintain my chi, I have decided to not read the Sound off. Enough said.

One of the commandments of the Bible is “Thou shall not kill.” To me, capital punishment, when they give someone a lethal injection, you’re killing somebody. Now, if this person killed somebody, they should take their own life, not have someone else take it for them. Because that’s the same thing as murder.

Having children does not give you the right to walk in front of people or pull in front of people. If you have children, you carry those kids and make sure they don’t run out in front of vehicles. I’m so sick and tired of people who have children thinking they’re special. Millions and billions of people have children.
