Liberty County resident Emma Davis, 12, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Georgia Pageant.

Emma Davis, 12, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Georgia Pageant to be held July 3-5 at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel and Convention Center in Atlanta.
Davis’ activities include school drama club, volleyball and reading. She also enjoys competing in various 4-H Club contests, being involved in the community and hanging out with friends.
Davis is being sponsored by her grandparents, C. Joel Osteen, New & Not Shop, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 789, the Felty family and James N. Osteen, Jr.
The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the national pageant at Disneyland in California.
The pageant awards thousands in scholarships and prizes to recognize and assist in the development of young women nationwide.
