All you people now worried about checks and balances in Washington, how about the checks and balances for the past eight years? And how about the checks and balances on this Iraqi war?

I like to thank our outgoing president for the wonderful mess he’s left this country in. Thank you, Republicans. That’s why you lost.

Have you seen your bailout bill lately? Well it’s $35 million apiece for each and every man, woman, boy and girl. Also, some people have lost $67,000 in retirement money. No wonder McCain didn’t talk about economics.

A wonderful family channel is The Hallmark Channel. I just discovered it on Comcast’s channel 71. I always wondered what HALL was.

If you want a black person elected to the Liberty County Athletic Hall of Fame, it would help if we had some on the ballot. Nominate some next year.

To the person who said he didn't vote for Obama because he is pro-choice. It shouldn't be left up to the government what you do with your baby. If you want to have an abortion, you have to answer to God.

Well, Hinesville, the troops are home, times are hard. I don't think they got a pay raise while they were over there fighting for our country. How many of you are going to lower the rent to make their lives easier?
