LeConte-Woodmanston Plantation and Botanical Gardens in Midway will host its first Super Saturday program this Saturday from 9-11 a.m. All are encouraged to come and participate. Activities include an “arts based in nature” program for preschoolers; an “unnatural nature walk” for beginner naturalists; and guided nature, history and birding walks. Beginning on the second Super Saturday on Feb. 7, LeConte-Woodmanston will add hands-on sessions with University of Georgia Extension agents Robert Bell and David Moulder, with timely topics for hard-core and wannabe gardeners. Once weather permits, other programs will be added.
