Glennville’s annual Tattnall Productions’ presentation of “Musical Memories” will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, and 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Glennville City Auditorium on Tillman Street.
This year’s extravaganza features the music of Georgia singers and songwriters, such as James Brown, Sam & Dave, Trisha Yearwood, Brenda Lee, Gladys Knight, Johnny Mercer and Billy Joe Royal, among others. The evening is interspersed with comedy, dance and gospel selections in addition to country, rock and roll, and rhythm and blues music. Sonny Dixon, WTOC news anchor, will serve as master of ceremonies.
Jesup’s Earl Bailey and Hinesville’s Lamar Cook will join Neil DeLoach, Jana Thompson Reaves, Scott Rogers and other vocalists.
