"Murder 101" Casting Call
A casting call has been issued for those who would like to perform in the Comedy Mystery Dinner Theater Show "Murder 101" at 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at Club Stewart.
No formal acting experience is necessary. Those interested in becoming part of the cast are asked to call 912-767-4316 to sign up.
"Murder 101" is an Interactive comedy murder mystery set at a class reunion of a closing high school. As the various alumni gather to say good-bye to their beloved alma mater, old rivalries and new alliances add up to an evening of murder and mayhem.
Rehearsals start during the week of Jan. 10 with the Comedy Mystery Dinner Theater Show at 7 p.m. on Jan. 14 at Club Stewart.
The cost for the dinner is $17 per person. The menu includes tossed garden salad, Beef bourguignon, Thyme infused roasted chicken, Roasted garlic mashed potatoes w/ demi sauce,Rice pilaf with bay leaves, Buttered pimento corn nibblettes, Green beans Almondine and assorted chef's delight

Ski and Sightseeing in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

Big Buck Contest Registration Extended
The registration deadline for the annual Big Buck Contest has been extended by Pass and Permit to Dec. 31. The cost to enter remains the same - $25 per person.
The contest is open to all Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield permit holders and bucks must be harvested on the installation.
Two bucks may be entered, but only one will be scored. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place winner. A cash award, deer mount and a free hunt/fish pass will be awarded to the Active Duty Soldier with the highest buck scoring.
Register at the Fort Stewart or Hunter Army Airfield Pass & Permit Office. The Stewart office is in building 8093 and the Hunter office is in building 1286.

New Year's Eve Celebration at Club Stewart
Celebrate the arrival of 2011 starting at 9 p.m. Dec. 31 at Club Stewart with friends, Family, fellow Soldiers or that special someone.
The special night will include DJ's in three club locations, live music by the band 360 Express, a balloon drop at midnight and party hats. The celebration will end at 3 a.m.
The price in advance is $20 per person. It includes a split of champagne. Cost at the door will be $25 per person and also will include a split of champagne.
Dinner will be available for an additional cost of $8 per person. Breakfast will be available for an additional cost of $6 per person.
The menu for dinner is traditional fried chicken, buffalo wings, collard greens, black eye peas, macaroni and cheese and dinner rolls. The menu for breakfast is fluffy scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and butter, apple juice, orange juice and coffee.

Marne Lanes Bowling Center will be joining in the celebration, too, with a New Year's Blue Pin Midnight Bowl from 6 p.m. until midnight. Clash on the Ice - Hockey in the Deep South
Leisure Travel presents opportunities on Jan. 14 and Jan. 15 to see top college hockey teams compete at the Savannah Civic Center in the Savannah Tire Hockey Classic. The cost is $25, which includes transportation and the game ticket(s).
On Jan. 14, see the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets square off against the Florida State Seminoles in a game that begins at 6 p.m. The Georgia Bulldogs and the Florida Gators clash in the second game, at 8:30 p.m.

Aerobic Thon & Health Fair
Here's an event to help you reach your goal of being more fit this year: the Aerobic-thon & Health Fair from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Jan. 22 at Newman Fitness Center.
The Aerobic-Thon offers a sample of various aerobic style classes taught by certified instructors with different fitness backgrounds. Styles will include kick-boxing, step, zumba, line-dancing, pilates and much more.
The health fair portion of this event will feature fitness assessments including body fat measurement, nutritional information and health screenings.

Third Annual Wildlife Gala
The Third Annual Wildlife Gala will be held from 5-8 p.m. Jan. 22 in the Main Ballroom of Club Stewart.
The annual event has grown popular among hunting and fishing enthusiasts at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. It will feature results of 2010 Managed Deer Hunt, Wildlife Photo Contest, Gobbler Contest, Big Buck Contest and Venison Cook-off and award presentations. Vendors will have various displays.
Door prizes will be given away and a video describing Stewart/Hunter hunting and fishing opportunities in 2011 will be shown. Bring the whole Family.
