NEW YORK CITY Everybodys favorite former cult follower who survived 15 years in a bunker is (almost) back, and now theres a trailer previewing the second seasons madness!
Netflix released a brand new trailer for the second season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Monday, and jeepers, are we excited. Featured: Kimmys unabashed naivety, Mrs. Voorhees upper-crusty cluelessness, Titus Andromedons fabulosity and Kimmy singing an original song about a bunny and kitty snuggling. Safe to say were pretty stoked.
The Netflix original series, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt experienced serious critical and audience adoration when it premiered in March of 2015. Featuring career performances by the former receptionist at The Office Ellie Kemper, the Tina Frey creation also introduced the world to actor Tituss Burgess, and for that we are eternally grateful.
The show which was originally meant to be a sitcom for NBC before it was sold to Netflix follows Kimmy who had lived the last 15 years of her life in an underground bunker in Indiana as directed by her doomsday cult. Upon emerging from the earth, she decides to make her life in the big city while working as a babysitter for Jacqueline Voorhees played by Jane Krakowski.
The 13-episode second season will be available to stream on Netflix in its entirety on April 15.
