A new poll from Morning Consult just revealed Americas favorite and least favorite Star Wars films.

The poll found that all the original films beat out the prequels and the new Disney films, The Force Awakens and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi all tied with 94 percent favorability ratings.

The newer The Force Awakens and Rogue One were right behind the originals, earning 91 percent favorability ratings.

All these films finished ahead of the prequels, though.

Revenge of the Sith finished fourth overall with 88 percent favorability, Attack of the Clones had 85 percent favorability and The Phantom Menace finished close behind with 84 percent favorability.

Not to be outdone, the original Star Wars characters also beat out all the newer stars. Princess Leia topped the entire list with 73 percent, followed closely by Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Yoda and R2-D2.

On the other end, Supreme Leader Snoke from The Force Awakens finished dead last on the list, followed closely by Count Dooku, the villain of the prequel trilogy's Attack of the Clones.

The poll comes just about a week before the sagas newest film, The Last Jedi, hits theaters.

Morning Consult surveyed 2,200 respondents about their thoughts on Star Wars films, breaking down the results by demographics and political backgrounds. The data revealed many insights into Star Wars fans, including their favorite characters and opinions on the politics of the films.
