The City of Hinesville is going to scare up another evening of entertainment this month.

The annual Scarecrow Stroll will take over downtown Hinesville on October 25 from 6–9 p.m.

“Downtown Hinesville allows for perhaps the greatest festival in southeast Georgia. It is one of our greatest events,” said Mayor Karl Riles.

New to the event this year is a sensory central, where those who are affected by the lights and noise can go to get away from it for a while. The sensory area will be located along Central Avenue.

“We will have a sensory zone for anyone who needs relief from loud noises and bright lights,” the mayor added. “We want to be inclusive of all our citizens.”

Council members also established trick-or-treating hour in the city on Halloween from 6-8 p.m.
