Bradwell Institute’s Engage Club announces the launch of its “Stand Up for Civics” fundraising campaign. The campaign aims to support the club’s efforts to increase civic education and participation among students through students attending the Georgia Center for Civic Engagement Youth Assembly and Model United Nations, as well as civic-related travel.

Engage Club is a student-led organization at Bradwell Institute that focuses on promoting civic engagement and education. With the “Stand Up for Civics” campaign, Engage Club hopes to raise funds to support its various initiatives, including voter registration drives, civics workshops, community outreach events, and civics related travel for students.

“We believe that civics education and engagement are essential to a healthy democracy,” said Engage Club President Henry Dickey. “Our club’s mission is to empower students with the knowledge and skills they need to be active, informed citizens, and this fundraising campaign will help us achieve that goal.”

The Stand Up for Civics campaign will run for the next two months, and the club has set a fundraising goal of $20,000. All funds raised will directly support the club’s activities and initiatives. Donors who contribute at least $250 will receive a sign to display their support of the club and civics education.

“We are excited to launch this campaign and grateful for the support of our community,” said club sponsors Clint Murphy and James Boyce. “We know that with your help, we can make a real difference in the lives of our students and our community.”

The club is accepting checks or cash and donations hat can be made by sending them to Bradwell Institute Engage Club, Bradwell Institute, 100 Pafford Street, Hinesville, GA 31313.
