Alltel Wireless hosted a grand reopening and ribbon-cutting ceremony Nov. 29 in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the store’s membership with the chamber.
Store manager Jabron Webster welcomed customers, friends, chamber staff, ambassadors, members and people from the community.
“Thank you all for coming out this morning,” he said. “We are grateful to be part of such a supportive community.”
Alltel specializes in wireless voice and data services, including messaging, wireless Internet access and other streaming features.
“We welcome you to the chamber,” said Kevin Thomas, chairman of the chamber of commerce board of directors. “We are here for you and support your growing business.”
Those in attendance were encouraged to participate in Alltel’s “Help us Help Others” campaign. People can drop off two cans of nonperishable food or a new, unwrapped toy at Alltel, 552 W. Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville, and enter to win a FREE HTC-7 Pro cell phone. Donations will benefit local families and children in need through various food banks and nonprofit organizations.
