The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting Oct. 16 for the Boost Mobile store by Communication Nation at 539 W. Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville.

Boost Mobile by Communication Nation is a wireless provider featuring an assortment of prepaid mobile phones, data plans and accessories.

Chamber membership coordinator Amber Barbaro welcomed Communication Nation regional manager Ashley Eckert and employees to the area and assured them that they have the full support of the Chamber.

“We just opened two new stores in Georgia,” Eckert said. “We’re just trying to grow, and hopefully, we’ll open a store in Statesboro. But now we have 10 stores in total.”

Eckert has been with the company for almost two years and recently moved to the area from Virginia. Although she is new to Liberty County, she has already reached out to connect with the community.

“I just talked to the anti-bullying step team, so I was going to see if they could come out to one of our events and have donation jars for them,” she said.

Eckert and Communication Nation are excited about opening their new location saying, “Boost Mobile is happy to be in Hinesville, and we recently rolled out LTE coverage to better service the community.”
